We booked a junior sweet so had a 2 seat sofa and desk area. The room had a balcony and fridge. There was complimentary bottled water for us in the room. The hotel was a minute walk from Little Havana. They also give you free Cuban coffee to drink whilst you are there and have a barber on site and do shoe shines as well. There are plenty of places to eat close by the hotel. This is a Cuban cafe and the food is good well priced and the Cuban coffee is good.
South Beach really is the place to be if you want to party and people watch. Try Kantina bar for their insanely huge cocktails! Wynwood Arts District with all the graffiti is mind blowing and a photographers paradise. Loved Wynwood diner. Try the beef sliders and Pimm's cup.
Considering petrol prices taxi charges are absurd. Try Uber app if you can get it on your international phone. Otherwise take the bus with the locals. Disappointing stay at ritz Carlton. Very laid back, relaxing city. The Best sports arena I've ever been in for the Panther's game and the Football stadium is second to none.
Weather, Wow! It was like groundhog day. Brickell Avenue is a gourmand's delight with an extensive selection of high end restaurants. For the steak lover, The Capital Grille is not to be missed. Truluck's is a phenomenal seafood restaurant. Mandarin Oriental has its own restaurant, Azul which has an awesome view of Biscayne Bay , that serves excellent cocktails along with Asian influenced dishes.

Many more restaurants are located within this area whigh are all top notch. Going to South Beach was great, we saw imagine dragons and Macklemore perform on the beach for free. The beach is great there are lots of shops and restaurants. The only downside is that everything is more expensive. We spent way more than we planned on spending.
Also the traffic can be very bad getting in and out of South Beach. Overall our stay was fine. The location was close to south beach and downtown. There was a cute little bar that had live music and a relax vibe.
The rooms were fairly simple but decent for the price and amount of days we stayed. We had our necessities: iron, microwave, and fridge. Around minutes maximum by car from Down Town and from Miami Beach.
